Your Role
The Outlets Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the front-of-house Food and Beverage experience which includes the Sahni restaurant, Humble Donkey café and bar, and event and banquet spaces.
The Outlets Manager is primarily responsible for:

Ensuring the Hotel Restaurant and Bar provide service that exceeds customer expectations, for all meal periods.
Ensuring all hotel Banquet events are executed as per the Banquet Event Order and meet the client's needs, including adjusting service to meet last-minute requests.
Develop, train, communicate and reinforce the service vision and standards to team members and coach them in supporting the successful execution of the vision.
Consistently display exceptional leadership by providing a positive work environment, counseling team members as appropriate, and demonstrating a dedicated and professional approach to managing a team.
Responsible for ensuring weekly schedules are prepared to meet the needs of the operation and of all upcoming events, while still managing labour costs.
Develop and implement operating standards for the Restaurant and Banquet teams, including training programs and SOP’s.
Identify and resolve all guest concerns/complaints to ensure the brand promise is delivered; coach and empower team members to do the same.
Liaise with all supporting departments to ensure a seamless experience for our guests, ensuring our vision of passionate people creating exceptional experiences is at the forefront of every interaction.
Perform other duties as assigned by management including but not limited to assisting team members with their roles during peak periods.
What We are Looking for...

Experience working as a Food & Beverage leader, preferably within a full-service hotel environment with proven experience leading a team in servicing large functions
University or College diploma in Hospitality is a definite asset
A hands-on approach to training and a leadership style committed to developing and motivating the team to attain a superior level of guest service
Strong computer skills, with knowledge of Microsoft Office, is essential
Organized, results-orientated, proven time management skills and ability to work under pressure
Proven experience motivating and inspiring a team to achieve strong performance results
Demonstrates strong leadership, team, communication, and coaching skills
Strong problem-solving and creative thinking skills
Thrives in a fast-paced environment-maintaining composure and objectivity with guests and team members
Available to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays as required

Key Responsibilities
Reporting to the Outlets Manager, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

Manage guest queries in a friendly, timely, and efficient manner.
Serve Alcoholic/non-Alcoholic beverages in conjunction with licensing/liquor regulations for residents and non-residents.
Ensure knowledge of the menu and all products.
Ensure that floor stations are stocked and tidy at all times.
Follow correct reporting procedures if faced with issues.
Possesses the ability to sell or influence others by up-selling and suggestive selling;
Ensure Food and Beverage orders are of a consistently good standard and delivered in a timely manner.
Collects payment for drinks served and balances all receipts;
Prepares inventory or purchase requisitions as needed to replenish supplies;
Complies with all food and beverage regulations;
Adhere to hotel grooming standards including uniform dress code, cleanliness and personal hygiene.
Comply with hotel security, fire regulations, and all health and safety legislation.

General Maintenance
We are currently recruiting for a General Maintenance person. The successful candidate will be driven and dedicated, possessing the skills necessary to respond quickly to maintenance requests and to maintain the hotel facilities by practicing preventative maintenance and general repairs. The ideal candidate will have the ability to interact professionally with guests and team members, a 'can do" attitude, and the desire to learn and advance within the company.

Key Responsibilities
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager:

Responsible for ensuring the property and product are in a condition that exceeds our guests’ expectations;
Identify and rectify general maintenance issues within the property;
Respond to guest requests in a courteous, efficient, and safe manner;
Perform preventative maintenance and necessary repairs to hotel guest rooms and equipment, including kitchen, boiler, HVAC, plumbing, and electrical;
Drywall repair, painting, and other basic carpentry as needed;
Make regular internal and external rounds of property to ensure that everything is in working order, reporting any issues to the Maintenance Manager;
Maintain work area, all equipment, and logbooks;
Respond to emergency situations including fire alarms, power failures;
Other duties as assigned.
What we are looking for...

Technical experience in a recognized trade with a general understanding of building maintenance and operation. Previous experience in a fast-paced hotel environment would be considered an asset;
Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written;
Flexibility in working any shift as required, including evenings, weekends, and holidays;
Ability to work within a team environment and a passion to learn and grow in this role;
Ability to prioritize and multitask;
Team player and self-starter with strong organizational skills;
Working knowledge of mechanical systems and operations - ie. chillers, boilers, water softeners, refrigeration, plumbing and electrical;
Strong problem-solving, analytical, creative thinking, and decision-making skills;
Good computer and communication skills;
Detail-oriented with outstanding organizational skills;
Knowledge of pool maintenance;
Thrives in a fast-paced environment-maintaining composure and objectivity with guests and team members;
