Position Overview

Reporting to the Guest Services Manager, the Guest Services Agent is responsible for ensuring a seamless and memorable guest experience from arrival to departure. This role requires a positive attitude, attention to detail, and a genuine passion for hospitality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver warm, welcoming, and professional service to all guests and team members
  • Perform guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently, following hotel credit and cash handling procedures
  • Create, modify, and cancel guest reservations accurately
  • Engage with guests throughout their stay, responding to inquiries, special requests, and service needs
  • Answer incoming and outgoing calls promptly and professionally
  • Resolve guest concerns and complaints in a courteous and timely manner
  • Maintain knowledge of hotel services, amenities, daily rates, and local attractions
  • Review logbooks, emails, and daily checklists, completing assigned tasks
  • Balance and prepare shift paperwork according to hotel standards
  • Communicate and collaborate effectively with all hotel departments
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Department Manager

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous customer service experience; hotel front desk experience is preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; Maestro or Opera experience is an asset
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a self-motivated approach
  • Friendly, energetic, and professional demeanor
  • Flexibility to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Must be legally authorized to work in Canada
