Your Role

The Project Administrator will support renovation and property improvements projects across Silver Hotel Group’s hotel portfolio.

This role will support the Corporate Director of Projects and the Projects team with procurement and coordination activities related to hotel renovation projects. The position will assist with procurement of construction materials and Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment (FF&E), vendor coordination, invoice processing, and project administration to ensure projects are delivered efficiently and on schedule.

This role offers the opportunity to work closely with the Corporate Director of Projects and gain hands-on experience in hotel renovation and capital improvement projects across SHG’s portfolio


The Project Administrator is primarily responsible for:

  • Provide administrative and coordination support to the Corporate Director of Projects and the projects team.
  • Schedule project meetings, prepare agendas, and record meeting minutes.
  • Assist in monitoring project progress and flag potential issues or delays to the project team.
  • Assist with procurement of construction materials, equipment, and Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment (FF&E) for hotel renovation projects.
  • Track purchase orders, material deliveries, and FF&E shipments to ensure alignment with project schedules.
  • Follow up with vendors to confirm order status and resolve delivery issues when required.
  • Process invoices received from general contractors, trades, and subcontractors.
  • Assist with tracking project expenses and updating cost tracking spreadsheets.

What You Bring to the Table

  • Previous experience in construction, renovation, hospitality projects, or capital improvement projects is considered an asset.
  • Experience supporting procurement or purchasing activities is an asset.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications is an asset.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Experience with AutoCAD and Blue Beam is an asset.
  • Familiarity with project management software (Microsoft Project or similar tools) is an asset.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Must be fluent in English (spoken and written).
