We are seeking a Food and Beverage Supervisor who is ready to take center stage, lead with energy, and help us build something exceptional. Your Role

The Food and Beverage Supervisor will play a key role in the day-to-day F&B operation for the Pantages Toronto Downtown Hotel. The Food and Beverage Supervisor is responsible for supporting all aspects of the front of house F&B experience which includes the restaurant, bar, and event - banquet spaces. This includes assisting in the coordination of all phases of meeting and social functions held at the Hotel and assisting clients with the successful execution of their event.  This position is also responsible for providing exceptional experience, connecting with guests, supporting their team and creating memorable experiences everyday; reflective of the standards our guests have come to expect from us.

The Food and Beverage Supervisor is primarily responsible for:

·        Lead by example with a visible, hands-on presence across the restaurant and event spaces.

·        Create a welcoming guest experience by greeting guests, supporting the team, and ensuring smooth, efficient service.

·        Coach and motivate team members while reinforcing service standards and a positive, collaborative work environment.

·        Respond to guest feedback and resolve service concerns professionally and promptly.

·        Work closely with the General Manager, Conference Services Manager, and Culinary Team to coordinate daily service, events, and operational priorities.

·        Ensure the team is informed of menu updates, VIPs, events, promotions, and service expectations.

·        Support creative beverage features, cocktail promotions, and opportunities to increase food and beverage sales.

·        Assist with team training, scheduling, staffing coverage, inventory, liquor ordering, and stock control.

·        Support POS updates, opening and closing procedures, and the overall cleanliness, organization, and presentation of Food & Beverage areas.

·        Contribute ideas that enhance the guest experience, improve operations, and support revenue growth.

What We are Looking for...

·        Post-secondary education in Food & Beverage/Hospitality Management is an asset.

·        3-5 years experience in F&B, either supervisor level or assistant manager, preferably in a full-service hotel environment.

·        Hotel Banquet experience is must.

·        Experience working in a unionized environment is an asset.

·        Proven experience with F&B cost controls.

·        Should have in-depth knowledge of inventory & management of it.

·        Hands on approach to training service team to exceed expectations.

·        Proven ability to achieve deadlines while focusing on department/hotel fiscal results.

·        Proficient in Excel, Microsoft Word/Office.

·        Available to work varied shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends (a must!) and Holidays.
