Silver Hotel group is currently recruiting a Senior Sales Manager for our Downtown Hotel Collection! We seek to find Team Members who have a natural inclination towards going above and beyond, and who believe that small gestures can go a long, long way.

Duties and Responsibilities

Reporting to the Downtown Collection’s Regional Sales Director and in collaboration with hotel General Managers, the Senior Sales Manager is a results-driven team player who thrives as a cross-seller in all market segmentations, with an emphasis in Group, Entertainment, and Business Travel. The ideal candidate will show their passion in promoting and sharing the exciting news of one of our independent boutique hotel's grand opening. This role is essential in setting this hotel up for success, as we aim to establish our unique brand presence in the Toronto market.

  • As the Senior Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in setting our opening hotel up for unparalleled success. Your leadership will serve as the driving force behind our sales strategies, ensuring that we exceed revenue targets and establish a strong presence within the market.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and maximize market penetration. Analyze market trends, identify opportunities for growth, and adapt strategies accordingly.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients, including corporate accounts, event planners, travel agencies, and other stakeholders. Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their needs and concerns promptly and effectively.
  • Drive business development initiatives to expand our client base and revenue streams. Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, prospecting, and attending industry events.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to develop compelling sales collateral, presentations, and proposals. Ensure all materials effectively communicate the value proposition of our hospitality services and offerings.
  • Monitor sales performance against targets, analyze sales data, and generate regular reports for senior management. Provide insights and recommendations to optimize sales processes and drive continuous improvement.
  • Lead contract negotiations with clients to secure profitable deals while ensuring alignment with company objectives and policies. Negotiate terms and conditions that maximize value for both parties.
  • Collaborate closely with other departments including operations, finance, membership, programming and events, to ensure seamless execution of client requirements and deliver exceptional service.
  • Monitor market trends, competition, and customer preferences to identify opportunities for growth and innovation

Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales management within the hospitality industry, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Strong sales skill set with the ability to creatively strategize to meet goals.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of the hospitality industry, including market trends, competitors, and customer preferences.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and implement effective sales strategies.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
