Your Role

As the Dual Senior Sales Manager, you'll report to the General Manager and team up with Regional Director of sales to champion the sales strategy across two exciting properties:

• TownePlace Suites by Marriott – Ottawa Kanata – where long-stay comfort meets community living. Think relaxed vibes, outdoor patios, and a neighbourhood feel.
• Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott – Ottawa Kanata – perfectly positioned for business and leisure travelers who want accessibility to attractions and big-city culture.

You’ll be the sales spark plug who turns our properties into a can’t-miss story in the market.

Your Superpowers

• Strategize and deliver result-driven sales plans that hit revenue targets and expand market presence—across all segmentation markets.
• Cultivate and nurture relationships with corporate clients, event planners, agencies, and more.
• Lead new business initiatives—network, prospect, and shine at industry events.
• Collaborate on marketing materials, proposals, presentations—and make them pop.
• Monitor performance metrics and steer adjustments to optimize results.
• Negotiate deals that benefit both clients and our brand.
• Work cross-functionally with teams such as operations, finance, events, and programming to guarantee exceptional results and guest experiences.
• Stay sharp on market trends, competitors, and customer needs—and let your insights drive innovation.

What You Bring to the Table

• A minimum of 2+ years in sales (hospitality sales experience is an asset)—and a track record of hitting aggressive goals.
• A creative yet strategic approach to sales with stellar negotiation, communication, and relationship-building chops.
• Deep understanding of the market trends and client expectations.
• Laser-sharp attention to detail with strong problem-solving prowess.
