Your Role

Reporting to the Food & Beverage Manager

Radisson Blu Toronto Downtown is currently recruiting for an Assistant Food & Beverage Manager! In this role, you will:

  • Provide personalized and exceptional guest service at every opportunity
  • Direct, delegate, and coordinate the banquets and food and beverage outlets’ daily business activities and team members
  • Ensure all event details and function specifications are executed in accordance with the client’s expectations
  • Manag food and beverage inventories, maintain par levels, and provide requisitions and for products and supplies
  • Facilitate regular meetings with team members and food and beverage leadership
  • Maximize revenues while maintaining a high standard of service and positive guest experience
  • Coach, motivate, and train team members on a continual basis

What You Bring to the Table

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a hotel food and beverage managerial role
  • Post-secondary education in food and beverage, hospitality, or culinary management is preferred
  • A hands-on management approach and the ability to be present during all peak business periods
  • Knowledge and experience with menu costing, engineering, and food and beverage cost controls,
  • Experience in banquets, catering, and meetings
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts based on business needs
  • Proven track record in menu design and service execution
